The Cutwater 26 is an excellent boat for a family with children or a couple looking for a versatile, well equipped cruiser, or day boat. The shallow draft is perfect for exploring and getting close in to beaches. The efficient Yanmar diesel inboard provides for ~ 8-9 gph at cruising speeds, 10gph at WOT. This boat was originally used as a fresh water boat on Lake Erie before being purchased and brought to New England where she has been used to cruise Cape Cod and the Islands for the last three years. As our family grows it is time to part with this special boat and move to a larger vessel. This Cutwater 26 is a good, solid boat and she is ready to go to her new home. While we have never trailered, her 8.5’ beam makes the boat portable to distant waterways and she comes with a 2011 EZ load trailer. To make her even more comfortable a custom mattress topper sleep system from yachtbedding.com ( 3 piece package topper, sheet and coverlet) is included in the purchase price, the sleep topper set retails for $1529 and has been a wonderful addition to overnight adventures.
