Crosby Canyon

30Canyon blueprint

The Crosby Canyon 30 was designed by Egan/Thompson as a sporty offshore fisherman. The goal was to create a highly functional, yet simplistic deck and cabin layout. This plan, which lends itself so well to practical fishing operations also makes for a perfect family boat. In fact, we have built many custom Canyon 30’s as sport-cruisers.

The Canyon 30 is a beamy, husky modern design with a planning hard chine hull. A blunt bow tailors aft in a modified V configuration which is set at a constant 17-degree deadrise. This is offset by broad horizontal chines that widen to almost eight inches aft. Coupled with an 11’5″ beam, the result is an incredibly soft riding and straight tracking design with stability unmatched by any hull in the thirty-foot range.

The Canyon 30’s sleek, modern profile belies the more than 140 years of tradition the name Crosby Yacht represents. While respecting this heritage, the Canyon 30 charges into the new century with current design trends and contemporary materials. Striking in appearance, her layout is not strictly aesthetic, but functional. The low profile and unique hull design combine to produce rock-solid stability and a low center of gravity.

Standard arrangements include three full bunks, enclosed head, galley, hanging locker, teak and holly sole and a plentitude of storage. Various color schemes, choices of materials and custom finishes of quality synonymous with the Crosby Name are available to the owner.
